Program duration

The Aristoteles Summer School takes place from 02 July 2026 to 12 August 2026 and runs for a total of six weeks. Participants can book the program flexibly in two-week modules, depending on their schedule and goals.

Who is the program for?

The program is designed for:

• Teenagers (15–19 years)

          Students who want to improve their German or plan to attend school in Germany. 

          Note: Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

• Young Adults (18–30 years): 

          Students and young professionals preparing for university studies or vocational training in Germany.

Language Levels: A2 - C1.

Participants are placed in small groups according to their level.

20 lessons per week

You will study German in small, level-based groups with experienced teachers. Our teaching approach is communicative, interactive and focused on real-life language use.

Academic Preparation (C1 focus)

For advanced learners (C1 level), the program includes targeted preparation for studying and working in Germany:

• Academic writing
• Presentation skills
• Discussion and argumentation
• University and job applications
• Introduction to German academic culture

Cultural & Social Activities

Learning German goes far beyond the classroom. Our leisure program allows you to practice German in real situations, explore Bremen and build friendships with other participants.

Accomodation

We can arrange accommodation in shared flats or apartments (depending on availability).

Accommodation is without meals, but we welcome all participants with a special welcome breakfast at the beginning of the program.

All accommodations meet the following standards:

• Private furnished room
• Stable internet access (Wi-Fi)
• Maximum travel time of 35–40 minutes by public transport to the school
• Clear shared house rules regarding:
  • quiet hours
  • use of kitchen and bathroom
  • smoking
  • visitor policies

A Typical Day at the Summer School

Weekdays, 4 days a week

09:00 – 13:00
Intensive German Course (A2–C1, separate groups)

13:00 – 14:30
Lunch break

14:30 – 16:00
Afternoon activities / leisure program (three days per week)

This balanced schedule gives you time to study, relax and explore Bremen while practicing your German in everyday situations.

Leisure & Cultural Activities

Our goals

• Encourage participants to speak German in everyday life
• Discover Bremen and northern Germany
• Build international friendships and a strong group spirit

Example activities (per 2-week module)

• City tour “Bremen for Newcomers” and Old Town rally
• Visit the historic Schnoor Quarter, Böttcherstraße and the Weser promenade
• Museum visits (e.g. Übersee Museum or Universum Bremen)
• Sports afternoon in the park or at the Weser beach area
• Day trip to Bremerhaven or the North Sea coast
• International Dinner – participants bring dishes from their home countries
• Final presentations, certificate ceremony and barbecue evening

Some activities are included in the program price.
Additional excursions such as the day trip may be booked optionally.
